Curious Minds

Curious Minds were at Burnley Community Festival at Queens Park on Sunday to evaluate its success.  Visitors to the event wouldn’t have been able to miss our team wearing bowler hats and sandwich boards inviting people to have their say.

The festival, organised by Burnley Borough Council, is now in its sixth year and celebrates everything that makes Burnley unique. The event attracted a varied and diverse range of residents and visitors to see street entertainers; community and faith group displays as well as take part in arts and crafts workshops and visit healthy eating tents.

Feedback gathered was in high praise for the event and its safe and fun environment in which to celebrate the cultural diversity of Burnley:

“It’s good for community cohesion....everyone can come together in a neutral environment. Everyone’s getting on and taking part.” Burnley resident
