Working with Liverpool on BSF

Liverpool have been working in close partnership with Curious Minds since the outset of their Wave 6 BSF programme.

An early outcome of this is the inclusion of creativity as one of only two cross-cutting themes within their 'Strategy for Change' visioning documents.

We have recently been commissioned by the city to:

  • build pupils' research skills, so they can consult with their peers on the kind of education they need to be receiving now in order to prepare them for the future
  • stage a major conference for the leadership of Wave 6 schools, introducing creativity as a powerful tool for stimulating change across the whole school community and supporting delegates to begin drawing up school-specific action plans
  • develop an 18-month change programme, supporting schools to make a successful transition to 21st century teaching and learning practice

Working with Knowlsey on BSF

Knowsley are at an advanced stage of the new school build programme and associated curriculum reform.

They are distinctive in having opted for 100% rebuild- a radical ‘start from scratch’ education transformation programme that has won them ongoing national attention and acclaim.

Knowsley recognised our Creative Partnerships Change Schools programme as a perfect mechanism for encouraging shared vision and language and direction, between pairings of currently separate schools, easing their transformation into new 'centres for learning'.

Through the support of our creative agents and the external partners they have brokered in, Knowsley Change Schools have engaged their local communities in developments and personalised the borough's ambitious pedagogical framework.
