Creative Practitioners and Organisations
Who do we work with?
We are always on the lookout for new members to join the Curious Minds pool of practitioners and opportunities to work with a broad and diverse range of partners who share our ethos and values. As well as practitioners from the arts sector, we are really interested in developing partnerships with individuals and organisations who use creativity within other disciplines. We are particularly keen to hear from mathematicians, scientists and practitioners from the wider creative industries sector including advertising, publishing, design, architecture, gaming technology and well being.
Our offer for creative practitioners
All creative practitioners and organisations wishing to join our pool are required to compete an application form and to attend a selection event or interview. Once approved, your details will be added to our online practitioner directory. As our new website develops, you will be able to amend and add content to your practitioner profile. You will also be able to find lots more information about other regional, national and international creative learning initiatives, training and networking opportunities. We hold a series of networking events throughout the year, where you will be able to showcase your work to schools and other key partners.
If you want to receive updates on future opportunities to profile and develop your work, please register for our e-bulletin.
Curious Minds on-line practitioner directory
All individuals and organisations on the Curious Minds practitioner directory have demonstrated a baseline of knowledge, understanding and experience of creative learning and the ways in which their practice can be applied, through collaboration, to improve outcomes for children and young people. The directory is a key resource for all of our partners to assist them in selecting practitioners for individual projects in schools, and other settings.
What experience do you need to be a creative practitioner for Curious Minds?
We encourage applications from creative practitioners with considerable experience of working with children and young people. However, we are also interested in working with practitioners who may not have experience of working directly with children and young people, but are able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how their specialist practice can impact on learning.
Calling all creative and curious minds...
