What teachers and school leaders are saying about Curious Minds

Curious Minds supports teachers and school leaders to find the solutions already there in their own schools

Over the eight years of being in partnership with schools, we have developed a sophisticated understanding of what works and bring a body of expertise to every new collaboration. You’ll hear it in the advice and support you receive from your Creative Advisor; see it in the partnership development resources we use to underpin planning; and feel it in your classroom as the practitioners you have selected get to work.

But don’t just take our word for it! Below you can read some of the feedback we have received from teachers and school leaders:

The impact on standards during our time with Curious Minds was amazing. It is also an accolade for Curious Minds that my school is recognised in Lancashire as being a school where creativity is central to teaching and learning’
Ethna Cummins (Headteacher), Whitefield Infants School

Curious Minds have carefully matched our needs with dynamic and inspirational creative practitioners. They have undoubtedly moved our school curriculum on to another level. They encourage us to take risks with our curriculum. We now take those risks, have children who are confident and motivated and staff who have acquired many skills that we didn't have before’
Mrs Alison Wilkinson (AST Arts Coordinator), Whitefield Infant School

As a direct result of working with Curious Minds, I have developed new schemes of work, gathered learner voice and opinion on the work they are doing, developed more investigative and creative approaches in the classroom. I have experienced much higher standards of work’
Grainne McCormick (Head of Performing Arts), Halton High School

The impact here in my school has been immense not only for students but for staff. I see more creative teaching, an open mind to different ways of developing materials and programmes of work, and students engaged in a more creative and effective way’
Philip Duffy (Headteacher), Wallasey School

We are indebted to Curious Minds for the expertise, skill, professionalism and innovation that has enabled us to develop and embed the creative and cultural experiences of our young people’
Fran Parsonage (Assistant Headteacher), Wallasey School

We see our partnership with Curious Minds as being critical to integrating creativity, diversity and sustainability into our curriculum offer’
Stuart Wearden (Deputy Headteacher – Curriculum), St. Hilda’s CE High School

This programme was extremely successful.  The school’s results went up to record levels and the programme was nominated for a TES outstanding Staff Training initiative in 2010’
James Kerfoot (Deputy Headteacher), Childwall Sports College
