Linda Wachaga is a visual artist, emerging creative technologist and creative facilitator based in Oldham, working across Greater Manchester.
In 2022, she was an artist on Reframe: The Residency, a collaboration between Factory International and Southbank Centre, developing an immersive climate exhibition. Since then, Linda has been commissioned by the Museum of Science and Industry to create a participatory artwork for Manchester Science Festival with members of Manchester's Black and Global Majority communities. She has also delivered visual arts projects with HOME and Moss Side Powerhouse Youth Centre exploring identity, and led a schools project in partnership with Network Rail, focused on youth voice and the future of cities and transport.
In 2025, Linda graduated with an MA in Immersive and Interactive Media Design from the Academy of Live Technology. She has since worked with MediaCity's Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub (MITIH) on a range of digital projects and is now supporting its Emerging Digital Creative Producer programme for young people.
Linda was a participant in the Curious Minds Young Associates 2024 programme and is a member of the Curious Minds Anti-Racism Advisory Group. Across her practice, she encourages experimentation and curiosity through creative storytelling, with a commitment to making creativity accessible and empowering people to tell their stories in their own way.
