Aims and description
This module focuses on helping you think carefully about what matters most when planning a school trip in your context. It supports you to align trips with your school’s priorities, such as curriculum goals, pupil needs, and whole-school focus areas, so that every visit has a clear purpose.
You will explore how to make the most of each trip, helping you get more value from the time and effort involved. This means thinking beyond a single subject and considering how the experience can support wider learning.
You will consider how preparation activities can get students ready to learn, and how follow-up work can help deepen learning back in the classroom.
You will be encouraged to reflect on what is essential for a successful trip, helping you keep your planning clear, purposeful, and focused.
